Meet the People Behind Summit

Different Expertise. One Shared Goal.

Helping you get back to doing what matters to you.

The Summit team brings together professionals from physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sports therapy and performance.

Everyone brings different experience and specialist interests, but the approach remains the same: understand the person, explain the problem clearly and build the right plan to help them move forward.

Find the Right Person for You

The best person to see depends on what’s happening and where you want to get back to.

You might be dealing with everyday pain, recovering after surgery, returning from a sporting injury or working towards a performance goal.

If you already know who you’d like to see, you can book directly with them.

Not sure? Tell us what’s bothering you and we’ll help guide you towards the right clinician, service and clinic.

Our Team

Andy Hosgood

Co-Founder & Physiotherapist

Andy co-founded Summit Physio in 2006 with a clear idea of what physiotherapy should be: personal, thorough and focused on helping people achieve lasting progress.

His approach looks beyond simply treating symptoms. Understanding why a problem has developed, how it affects the individual and what they want to get back to all play an important part in shaping rehabilitation.

That philosophy continues to influence the way the wider Summit team works today.

Adam Richardson

Co-Founder & Physiotherapist

Adam co-founded Summit Physio alongside Andy Hosgood in 2006.

His approach centres around understanding the factors contributing to pain, injury or reduced movement before deciding the most appropriate route forward.

Rather than focusing purely on short-term symptom relief, the aim is to give people a clearer understanding of their body and a plan that helps them return confidently to everyday activity, exercise or sport.

Louise Bentley

Business Manager

Louise helps make sure everything runs smoothly throughout your experience with Summit.

From helping arrange appointments and answering questions to guiding people towards the right clinic or clinician, she plays an important role in supporting both patients and the wider Summit team.

If you’re not sure who to see or which appointment you need, Louise and the team can help point you in the right direction.

Maia Hawkins

MSK Therapy, Rehabilitation, Strength & Conditioning

Maia combines sports rehabilitation with strength and conditioning, making her particularly well suited to helping people bridge the gap between recovering from an injury and being genuinely ready to return to sport.

Her experience includes supporting athletes within wrestling and high-performance sporting environments.

Maia enjoys helping people progress beyond simply feeling better, rebuilding the strength, confidence and physical capacity needed for the demands they want to return to.

Special interests: Sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, return to sport and performance.

Laura Taylor

MSK Therapy & Rehabilitation

Laura believes treatment should always be shaped around the individual.

Two people may arrive with pain in exactly the same area but have completely different lifestyles, goals and physical demands.

Her approach takes those differences into account, combining assessment and rehabilitation with a clear understanding of what the person ultimately wants to achieve.

Special interests: Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, movement, biomechanics and return to activity.

Ruby Donnelly

MSK Therapy & Rehabilitation

Ruby works with people experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, from everyday injuries through to sporting and performance-related rehabilitation.

Her experience includes working with runners, rugby players and performers, giving her a strong understanding of the different physical demands people may need to return to.

Ruby enjoys helping people progress from the early stages of recovery towards becoming stronger, more confident and more resilient.

Special interests: Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, running, rugby, performing arts and long-term recovery.

Libby Hall

MSK Therapy & Rehabilitation

Libby’s own involvement in sport and experience of injury helped develop her interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Her approach combines hands-on therapy with exercise-based rehabilitation to help people reduce pain, restore movement and progressively work towards their goals.

She brings a friendly and supportive approach while keeping rehabilitation focused on meaningful, measurable progress.

Special interests: Sports rehabilitation, exercise rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries and hands-on treatment.

Samuel Dunn

MSK Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Sam works with active people looking to recover well, manage muscular tightness and keep their body feeling ready for the demands they place on it.

With his own background in rugby, he understands how training, competition and physically demanding activity can affect the body.

His sessions are tailored around the individual rather than following the same routine for everyone.

Special interests: Sports massage, muscular recovery, active lifestyles and performance support.

Josh Asquith

MSK Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Josh spent his teenage years competing in high level sports; he played football in the youth alliance league and represented Great Britain in kickboxing where he maintained a World title for 5 consecutive years. During that period, he sustained a wide variety of injuries making him curious about the expert knowledge of physiotherapists and there began his interest in the profession.

Josh originally joined the team back in 2018, and has been a part of Summit over the past 8 years. With an interest in human movement, and a passion for understanding kinetic control and muscular stability, he enjoys the challenge of solving the puzzles of injury and finding the most effective ways to treat them.

Josh loves people, he enjoys getting to know his patients and building close working relationships, he is a firm believer that to be healthy it is important to be happy, so prioritise both.
