Pleated and cellular blinds fold neatly back and forth as they’re raised, sitting compact at the top of the window and lying flat and smooth when lowered. Pleated blinds are a single layer of fabric; cellular blinds — also known as honeycomb blinds — have a double layer that traps air, making them one of the most thermally efficient window coverings available.
Both are available in Perfect Fit format, which means they clip directly into the window frame on compatible profiles with no drilling required. This makes them particularly popular across Cottam and Broughton new-builds and any property with suitable uPVC frames where a no-drill solution is preferred.
Pleated and cellular blinds are also well-suited to conservatories, shaped windows and roof glazing where other blind types are harder to install. Available in blackout, dim-out and sheer fabrics, they’re a versatile product that John can install across a wide range of window types and situations.

Pleated blinds are a single layer of fabric folded into a neat pleat. Cellular (or honeycomb) blinds have a double layer that forms enclosed air pockets — this is what gives them their thermal insulation properties. If warmth retention is important, cellular is the better choice. John will show you both at the consultation.
