The right perfect fit shutters for your home
Perfect Fit shutters use the same no-drill clip-in principle as Perfect Fit blinds, but with the louvre-based construction and light control of a plantation shutter. The shutter clips into the window frame directly, sits flush within it and operates as a standard shutter — without any drilling, brackets or wall fixings.
As with all Perfect Fit products, frame compatibility is the critical factor. Not every window frame is suitable, and this is always checked by John at the consultation before any recommendation is made. The frame profile needs to be the right type and depth to accept the Perfect Fit clips, and this can’t be confirmed from photos or a description — it needs to be assessed in person.
Where the frame type is compatible, Perfect Fit shutters give an excellent, clean finish with none of the preparation work required for a standard shutter installation. They’re a more specialist product with more limited availability than standard plantation shutters, and John will confirm whether your windows are suitable at the consultation and give you a clear recommendation either way.

John checks this at the consultation — it can’t be confirmed without seeing the frame in person. If your frames aren’t suitable, he’ll advise on the best alternative.
How do Perfect Fit shutters differ from standard plantation shutters?
The main difference is in the installation method. Standard plantation shutters are fixed to the wall or window board around the frame. Perfect Fit shutters clip directly into the frame itself, leaving no visible fixings and requiring no drilling. The louvre operation and appearance are very similar once installed.
Are Perfect Fit shutters available in the same finishes as standard shutters?
The range of finishes available for Perfect Fit shutters is more limited than for standard plantation shutters. John will confirm what’s available for your specific frame type at the consultation.
What is the lead time for Perfect Fit shutters?
Perfect Fit shutters are manufactured bespoke and the lead time is 12 weeks or more from consultation. Nicky will confirm the current lead time when you get in touch.
